Make sure you clean under the hood, everyone likes a clean engine.
Vacuum the carpets and clean the windows and mirrors.
Inspect your vehicle; make sure it is mechanically sound. Fix your dents, polish the scratches, and give your vehicle a little wax.
Insure you have all your maintenance records and have them ready to show any potential buyer.
Make sure your tires are correctly inflated, including the spare tire. Put a little effort into the rims, are they clean and shiny?

These small steps may take a little time and effort and don't cost much but can make the difference in selling your car fast and for the best price. This video has some helpful hints.

Step 2. Shooting Your Video

It is very important that you shoot a great video of your vehicle. A buyer will want to see the vehicle clearly and from many angles. Once you have cleaned your vehicle, you can shoot the video with either a camcorder or a camera phone. the better the quality video you shoot the better the quality video your potential buyers will see.

Things to Consider

You can upload up to 10 minutes of video to YouTube, but would you watch 10 minutes of footage on a car you'd never seen before? Keep it brief - 2 - 3 minutes MAX.
Keep the sun at your back, not in front of you, the sun will give a lot of light reflection.
Explore all angles of your vehicle, take a few shots of your vehicle, from different angles then review them; if you are not happy, take more, once you are satisfied that this is the video that will sell your vehicle, keep the shots.
Describe what you are shooting. Even though people can see the black interior, describe the condition. Tell us how many miles are on the vehicle, if the tires are new, etc.
If you are not comfortable with shooting your own video, we offer a shoot the video for you service.
